Dave Roberts Jazz Musician

Dave's style of jazz is modern/mainstream.  He plays tenor and baritone sax as well as clarinet and bass clarinet.

Based in Chester, he is the leader of the "Dave Roberts Quartet" which can be heard at jazz venues in Cheshire, Lancashire and North Wales.

He is particularly well known for his baritone playing, having been influenced by the legendary Gerry Mulligan.  On tenor saxophone Dave reveres the playing of Stanley Turrentine and on clarinet he is inspired by the great Buddy De Franco.
